Lin Wenbao, a retired professor at Taitung University, donated 100,000 children’s literature books, documents, and materials—collected over the course of his lifetime—to the Taitung University Library and Information Center. Based on this donation, the library has established a specialized collection focused on children’s literature research, named the “Lin Wenbao Special Collection of Children’s Literature,” which is available to researchers both domestically and internationally, thereby benefiting the field of children’s literature.
